The Christian dating is a preparation. Christian dating should always aim at the marriage. A relationship that does not target a future marriage shouldn’t even be started. While the desire is that both become intimate in your relationship, that does not mean freedom in the physical, much less sexual freedom between the loving couple. Sexual intercourse is meant to be enjoyed only between persons duly married (Hebrews 13.4; Genesis 2:24; Song of Solomon 4:12, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Colossians 3:5-6, 1 Corinthians 6.15-20; 1 Timothy 5:22, 2 Timothy 2:22).
This is a period of mutual knowledge, knowledge of the soul, the heart, not the physical one another. The physical aspect is destined for marriage. Therefore requires self-discipline, constant surveillance. It is a time where you get the opportunity to harmonize two different personalities, know each other. Spiritual communion is a key factor. Remember that the closer each one is of God, will be closer to each other. This period also serves to confirm the perfect will of God for the life of both.
